Draft Information Prospects with the pure athletic ability of Hood will always attract interest. Hood has the potential to do it all, particularly hit with power and run. A shortstop in high school, he'll undoubtedly move to the outfield as a pro. He has some feel for the game, but overall is more projection right now. The big question is whether the team that drafts him will be able to sign him away from being a two-sport star at the University of Alabama.
