Strengths: Osman is a long and lanky point guard with all of the point guard tools at his disposal. He can shoot the long-range jumper very well, and he has impressively strong moves around the rim. Osman has a knack for finding the ball on defense, as well as turning turnovers into fast-break points. He will also contribute in the block category as well, especially in transition.
Weaknesses: Although Osman shows strong tendencies playing in Turkey, those same tendencies may not translate to the NBA game. Players will be much stronger and faster, so Osman may struggle to adjust his inside approach. He also may not have the explosiveness that a lot of other NBA athletes have. It will be interesting to see the approach that an NBA coach takes with Osman’s skill set.
