Strengths: As you can probably tell from his stat line, Wood has incredible length around the rim. He gets all sorts of rebounds that lead to put backs, and he has the potential to be an elite shot-blocker. Wood is great in transition with solid speed and the length to go up and grab jump balls. He has a great ability to drive and finish at the rim.
Weaknesses: Wood will really need to gain muscle if he wants to play power forward at the NBA level. He struggles with contact at the rim, and he’ll sometimes settle for jumpers when he shouldn’t. Wood needs to develop his inside game further to go along with his muscle. If he can limit turnovers and play to his strengths (height and length), Wood will be a great asset for an NBA team.
