SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Wright led Utah to a little bit of a run in the NCAA Tournament last year. The best way to describe Wright’s play is to call him a “ball hawk.” He strives to be a balanced overall player, and it shows. Wright flies around the floor making stellar passes, filling passing lanes, taking defenders to the rim, and even swatting some shots. Wright is the kind of guy a developing team can build around. He has the drive and determination to pick any team up and make the players around him better.

Weaknesses: The downside to Wright’s game is that there isn’t one thing to point to and say, “he’s NBA ready.” One of the biggest concerns is his three-point shot. Although he leaves everything he has at the gym trying to improve that long-range shot, it hasn’t shown through yet, and may be a big detriment at the next level.
