Analysis

Davis was considered a top prospect after his spirited play on the 2009 National Champions. However, he has seemed to have had trouble adjusting to increased minutes and defensive focus on him. At times, he seems very unsure of what he should be doing out on the court. His offensive skills are steadily improving, though he still does most of his damage by being active for rebounds and loose balls. Defensively, Davis can be a terror for opponents penetrating the middle, but his lack of strength makes it tough for him to fight for position in the post. His physical tools still make him a great NBA prospect, but he needs to work on his basketball skills to become an elite player.
