Strengths: Oubre’s wingspan is over seven feet long, so you can imagine he’s getting plenty of looks from NBA scouts. He matches that wingspan and great athleticism with a solid outside jump shot and effectiveness in transition. He has become a solid defender, as well. The peripherals of a great overall player and the ideal size for a wing player make Oubre’s draft stock skyrocket.
Weaknesses: A little more muscle on his frame would certainly help Oubre’s case as a future NBA star. He also needs to continue improving his defense in order to keep up with the talent and athletic ability at the next level. If Oubre stays focused and determined through his first couple of seasons in the NBA, he will make a team very happy.
