At this point, a rugged stay-at-home defender with good size. Has good defensive zone awareness with good gap control. Can go from backward to forward well and is an effective transition passer, but isn’t much of puck handling attacker. Takes care of business in his end and makes the life difficult in his zone. Has awareness in the attack zone and can walk the blue line on the PP, and get shots to the front, but so far he projects as a player with little offensive upside.
