Tall scorer who is working on improving his speed and strength. Was named the Most Valuable Player in the Michigan Interscholastic Hockey League as a high school junior. Committed to his team in the hopes of a state championship, instead of opting for a tougher competitive level with Sioux Falls in the USHL. He is a large kid who is a good skating long-strider with acceleration, quick feet, and more than one gear. Strong on the puck, with a good hard shot and release.
