1

Alabama 4-0 W:Kent State 48-0

1

The Crimson Tide have 18 shutouts since Nick Saban took the helm, tops in the country.

2

Ohio State 3-0 Idle 2

Business as usual for the Buckeyes.

3

Louisville

4-0 W:Marshall 59-28 3

In the time it took to write this little blurb, Lamar Jackson scored another touchdown. We normally test athletes for steroids, Jackson should be tested to see if he is part Cyborg.

4

Michigan 4-0 W:Penn State 49-10 4

The Wolverines get a Badger team that has surprised many by still being unbeaten.

5

Clemson 4-0 W:Georgia Tech 26-7 5

Saturday....Clemson gets Louisville at home in a game that will give us the front-runner for the ACC.

6

Houston 4-0 W:Texas State 64-3 6

Wide receiver D'Eriq King finishes the day with a touchdown pass, a touchdown reception and a kickoff return for touchdown. First time that has happened at the FBS level in six seasons.

7

Wisconsin 4-0 W:#12 Michigan State 30-6 9

Alex Hornibrook gets the start as the Badgers make a quarterback change and he passes all tests. Wisconsin needs to maximize the quarterback position with Michigan and Ohio State up next on the schedule.

8

Stanford 3-0 W:#28 UCLA 22-13 7

Game with Washington this week is one of the marquee matchups for the weekend.

9

Miami 3-0 Idle 8

Week off for Miami at a great time as the next five games look to be the toughest stretch the Hurriceans have on their schedule this season.

10

Florida State 3-1 W:South Florida 55-35 10

Florida State gets back on track with a win but the Seminoles are still giving up 38 PPG on defense, waaaaaay too much.

11

Tennessee 4-0 W:#19 Florida 38-28 13

Home game 10/15 with Alabama cannot be the sole focus as a road test with Texas A&M the week before now looks nearly as big.

12

Washington 4-0 W:Arizona 35-28 (OT) 11

A win over Stanford at home will deliver a big message to the entire Pac-12 and the country.

13

Texas A&M 4-0 W:#24 Arkansas 45-24 15

Trevor Knight has went consecutive games interception free and is taking care of the football.

14

Baylor 4-0 W#33 Oklahoma State 35-24 16

Seth Russell had plenty of big plays but Baylor still needs to show more offensive balance or they will implode by seasons end.

15

Ole Miss 2-2 W:#18 Georgia 45-14 17

Don;t forget Ole Miss just because they have a pair of losses, this team has elite talent and can still make plenty of noise in the SEC.

16

Utah 4-0 W:USC 31-27 20

The Utes are certainly not scoring style points in these victories but they are W's.

17

Nebraska 4-0 W:Northwestern 24-13 22

We have been calling the Cornhuskers taking the Iowa route to the top since ther season began...we are looking pretty smart thus far.

18

Boise State 3-0 W:Oregon State 38-24 21

Jeremy McNichols scores four touchdowns to keep opposing defenses honest when facing Boise State.

19

Oklahoma 1-2 Idle 23

The Sooners are ranked 65th running the football, a very low ranking for a team with so much talent running the football.

20

Iowa 3-1 W:Rutgers 14-7 25

Iowa didn't exactly lay the wood to Rutgers but they are back i the win column.

21

San Diego State 3-0 Idle 27

13 wins in a row dating back to last season, second to Alabama in the nation.

22

Michigan State 3-1 L:#9 Wisconsin 6-30 12

We weren't buying the hype that Michigan State was a Top Ten team, that's why we had them lower in our rankings.

23

North Carolina 3-1 W:Pittsburgh 37-36 26

The Tar Heels still have plenty of holes on defense but they remain a fun team to watch offensively.

24

Western Michigan 4-0 W:Georgia Southern 49-31 31

Zach Terrell with 4 more touchdown passes as the Broncos start getting more and more attention.

25

Texas 2-1 Idle 29

Travel to Still water to face the Cowboys before The Red River Rivalry is renewed.

26

Arizona State 4-0 W:#35 Cal 51-41 40

Traveling to a desperate USC team this week will be very dangerous for Arizona State.

27

Minnesota 3-0 W:Colorado State31-24 37

Game with Penn State this week looks like a classic trap game, Minnesota needs to keep their focus.

28

LSU 2-2 L:Auburn 13-18 14

Les Miles......hope the Classifieds in your area have some openings.

29

Florida 3-1 L:#13 Tennessee 28-38 19

The loss to Tennessee doesn't leave the Gators for dead in SEC play, they still have the ability to play their way into the Conference Title game.

30

Toledo 3-0 Idle 34

Once again the unheralded Toledo defense makes them a contender in the MAC.

31

Georgia 3-1 L:#17 Ole Miss 14-45 18

The Bulldogs have been flirting with disaster since their opener, but this was a flat out dud.

32

Air Force 3-0 W:Utah State 27-20 38

Big game with Navy this week will show us who among the service academies is the best.

33

Arkansas 3-1 L:#15 Texas A&M 24-45 24

Arkansas is still alive and well in the SEC but they aren;t the first to fall short against an Aggie team that seems to be better than advertised.

34

West Virginia 3-0 W:BYU 35-32 39

Quietest 3-0 start in the country as many are trying to figure out if the Mountaineers are for real.

35

Colorado 3-1 W:#30 Oregon 41-38 NR

Colorado could be the best team in the Pac-12 South with their only loss against Michigan.

36

Virginia Tech 3-1 W:East Carolina 54-17 NR

3-1 with their only loss coming against Tennessee. Game with North Carolina will give us a picture of Miami's biggest competition in the ACC Coastal division.

37

UCLA 2-2 L:#7 Stanford 13-22 28

The Bruins have the ability to play with any team but they just can't get over the hump.

38

TCU 3-1 W:SMU 33-3 NR

Big second half allows the Horned Frogs to pull away from SMU.

39

Navy 3-0 Idle NR

Navy finds it's way back into the Fierce 40.

40

Memphis 3-0 Idle NR

Memphia debuts in the Fierce 40 but it may be short lived. memphis will play Ole Miss whom they upset a season ago.

Dropped Out: Army, Oklahoma State, Cal, Notre Dame and Oregon.
