Heisman Watch 2017: Week 11

1. Baker Mayfield – QB Oklahoma: 213-299 71.2% 3,559 yards 31 TD 5 INT 231 yards rushing 5 rushing TD. LW 1.

Mayfield with a masterful performance against TCU as it gives them the inside track to the Big 12 title.

2. Bryce Love – RB Stanford: 181 carries 1,622 yards 9.0 YPC 15 TD. LW 3.

Love cuts into the Baker Mayfield lead after netting 3 TD's on the ground as Stanford upsets Washington. Love has essentially missed 1.5 games due to injury and is still not 100%, yet he leads the NCAA in rushing.

3. Jonathan Taylor – RB Wisconsin: 219 carries 1,525 yards 7.0 YPC 12 TD. LW 5.

It looks like the freshman may have an invite to New York id the Badgers keep on winning.

4. Saquon Barkley – RB Penn State: 166 carries 899 yards 5.4 YPC 11 TD 40 catches 524 yards 13.1 YPC 3 TD 13 KR 415 yards 31.9 YPR 2 TD 2-2 36 yards 1 passing TD. LW 2.

Slide dowen the board continues as Barkley finds the end zone but cannot get it going in the running game.

5. Khalil Tate – QB Arizona: 65-105 61.9% 998 yards 8 TD 6 INT 111 carries 1,293 yards 11.6 YPC 11 rushing TD. LW NR.

11.6 yards per carry at this stage of the season for a quarterback is something that is unheard of.

6. Josh Adams – RB Notre Dame: 153 carries 1,231 yards 8.0 YPC 9 TD. LW 4.

Helds to 40 yards against the Hurricanes.

7. Mason Rudolph – QB Oklahoma State: 234-361 64.8% 3,690 yards 30 TD 7 INT 7 rushing TD.  LW 6.

Rudolph saved one of his best performances of the year when the Cowboys really needed him.

8. Lamar Jackson – QB Louisville: 212-352 60.2% 3,003 yards 21 TD 6 INT 178 carries 1,176 yards 6.6 YPC 15 TD. LW 8.

Jackson finds a way to stay in the discussion but a trip to New York is unlikely.

9. Rashaad Penny – RB San Diego State: 229 carries 1,602 yards 7.0 YPC 15 TD 2 receiving TD. LW 7.

Second in the NCAA in rushing yards.

10. Riley Ferguson – QB Memphis: 218-359 60.7% 2,881 yards 27 TD 7 INT 3 rushing TD. LW 10.

Maybe it was the system and not all Paxton Lynch as Riley Ferguson is garnering some NFL Draft attention.

Honorable Mention:  Michael Gallup, WR, Colorado State; Will Grier, QB, West Virginia; Ed Oliver, DT, Houston; Luke Falk, QB, Washington State; J.T. Barrett, QB, Ohio State: and Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB, Alabama.
