by DJ Boyer on Nov. 18, 2015

Heisman Watch: Week 11

1. Derrick Henry – RB Alabama: 240 carries 1,458 yards 6.1 YPC 19 TD LW 3.

The last two games for Henry have put him in command of the Heisman race.

2. Ezekiel Elliot – RB Ohio State: 220 carries 1,425 yards 6.4 YPC 16 TD 24 catches 169 yards. LW 4.

Elliot has been the most consistent of the top running backs this season.

3. Leonard Fournette – RB LSU: 214 carries 1,474 yards 6.9 YPC 17 TD LW 2.

Two straight games under 100 yards equates to a pair of losses for LSU. This just reassures our stance that LSU is a one-dimensional team.

4. Deshaun Watson – QB Clemson: 216-308 70.1% 2,593 yards 23 TD 8 INT 108 carries 700 yards 6.5 YPC 5 TD. LW 6.

Watson is making a hard charge towards the Heisman and Clemson being #1 in the BCS rankings does nothing to hurt his chances.

5. Corey Coleman – WR Baylor: 61 catches 1,229 yards 20.1 YPC 20 TD.  LW 1.

Big reason why Baylor lost was keeping Coleman in check for the game and he likely saw his Heisman chances wither away.

6. Trevone Boykin – QB TCU: 239-363 65.8% 3,427 yards 29 TD 9 INT 109 carries 598 yards 5.4 YPC 8 TD. LW 5.

Boykin is listed as doubtful for this weekends game but even if he plays one wonders how effective he will be.

7. Keenan Robinson – QB Navy: 31-65 47.7% 597 yards 4 TD 0 INT 182 carries 948 yards 17 TD. LW NR.

Robinson is now the NCAA career leader in rushing touchdowns with 4 more this past weekend.

8. Paxton Lynch – QB Memphis: 246-358 68.7% 3,014 yards 21 TD 3 INT 73 carries 235 yards 2 TD. LW 7.

Just like the Navy game. Lynch wasn't awful and mase some good plays but we were expecting mkore from him while trying to will his team to victory.

9. Dalvin Cook- RB Florida State: 170 carries 1,369 yards 8.1 YPC 14 TD 18 catches 202 yards 1 TD. LW NR.

Biggest concern with Cook is durability as he has missed parts of four ganmes due to injury this season.

10. Marquise Williams – QB North Carolina: 153-231 66.2% 2,222 yards 97 carries 669 yards 6.9 YPC 9 TD. LW 5.

Three straight weeks with a raw QBR of over 85.0, may be the hottest quarterback at the NCAA level right now.

Honorable Mention:Tyler Matakevich, LB, Temple;  Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame; Devontae Booker, RB, Utah;  Myles Garrett, DE, Texas A&M; Matt Johnson, QB, Bowling Green and Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State.
