by DJ Boyer on Sep. 22, 2015

Heisman Watch: Week 3

1. Leonard Fournette – RB LSU: 47 carries 387 yards 8.2 YPC 6 TD LW NR.

While we have seen some good performances we had yet to see a "Heisman Moment", that was until Fornette absolutely shredded the Auburn defense.

2. Nick Chubb - RB Georgia: 56 carries 468 yards 8.4 YPC 4 TD. LW 2.

Chubb is as consistent as they come in the SEC.

3. Ezekiel Elliot – RB Ohio State: 61 carries 331 yards 5.4 YPC 4 TD LW 1.

It's important for Elliot to keep producing while the quarterback situation is sorted out in Columbus.

4. Trevone Boykin – QB TCU: 65-99 65.6% 985 yards 10 TD 3 INT 32 carries 148 yards 4.6 YPC 2 TD. LW 3.

Boykin should be near the top of the standings as long as TCU stays in Big 12 and National Playoff contention.

5. Cody Kessler – QB USC: 70-89 78.7% 922 yards 10 TD 0 INT. LW 5.

You can't put the loss against Stanford on the shoulders of Kessler, he did his part.

6. Jared Goff – QB California: 68-93 73.1% 898 yards 9 TD 2 INT. LW NR.

Cal hasn't been 3-0 for a long time and Goff is leading the charge.

7. Myles Garrett – DE Texas A&M: 16 tackles, 6.5 TFL 5.5 sacks 1 forced fumble. LW NR.

Garrett is leading the NCAA in sacks 1 year after setting the SEC freshman sack record.

8. Devontae Booker – RB Utah: 84 carries 345 yards 4.1 YPC 4 TD 14 receptions 126 yards 9.0 YPC. LW NR.

The workhorse of the Utes offense gearing up for the much anticipated game with Oregon.

9. Keenan Reynolds – QB Navy: 7-13 53.8% 108 yards 0TD 0 INT 35 carries 163 yards 6 TD. LW NR.

Reynolds is now just adding to his ridiculous career  numbers which currently stands at 2,906 career passing yards with 23 TD and 7 INT and 3,349 career rushing yards with 70 career rushing touchdowns.

10.  Dalvin Cook – RB Florida State: 64 carries 476 yards 7.4 YPC 5 TD LW NR.

Cook is ensuring that Florida State stays at the top of the ACC.

Honorable Mention: Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida; Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame; Dak Prescott, QB, Mississippi State; Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama and Tyler Matakevich, LB, Temple.
