BigQuincy73's comments: No brainer. Buffalo gets an elite d-man they have been desperately needing to line up beside Ristolainen, and the powerplay QB they have been desperate for.

BigQuincy73's comments: While Filip Zadina is the more complete player, Tom Dundon is likely to take the reigns on this pick, looking at the high powered offence Vegas established as a model.

BigQuincy73's comments: If there's one thing we know about Marc Bergevin, it is that he likes things his way. Tkachuk is a tough, versatile player, and can play the centre position that Montreal desperately needs to fill.

BigQuincy73's comments: Zadina is given a chance to thrive in a system that lost its mojo, regardless of who he lines up with, can be a 200 ft player immediately.

BigQuincy73's comments: Not the Swedish defenseman they wanted, but not a bad substitute. Boqvist offers good vision and poise to a blue line looking to get younger and more mobile.

BigQuincy73's comments: Detroit takes the guy they've been able to scout the most, while Quinn Hughes is a smaller skater, his upside is too great to pass up.

BigQuincy73's comments: Jim Benning gets his guy in Evan Bouchard, large frame, good hockey IQ and a developing offensive instinct, Bouchard may be the most NHL ready D man not named Dahlin.

BigQuincy73's comments: If Chicago is able to pick Wahlstrom up at 8th, they're happy. Offensively skilled and just as hockey smart, we could be hearing Chelsea Dagger for a lot longer than we thought.

BigQuincy73's comments: Reminds me of Torey Krug or Troy Stetcher, small but undeterred, poised and a good vision in the offensive zone.

BigQuincy73's comments: Dobson is a well rounded defenseman, and while Acadie-Bathurst made the Memorial Cup, it's a shame his draft stock won't be rising much more. Well-rounded, reliable defenseman the Oilers desperately need.
