RealDraftJuice's 2019 NFL Mock Draft Picks - Last updated: 12-01-2018

Rnd. ▴ Pick   Team Player Pos. School
1 1Oakland OaklandNick Bosa DE Ohio State
RealDraftJuice's comments: I think Nick Bosa fits the personality mold and 90s early 2000s mold of John Gruden’s type of player. Plus he has to look like a Genius in the Draft after Trading the leagues best defensive player by getting the Drafts best defensive player.
1 2Arizona ArizonaQuinnen Williams DE Alabama
RealDraftJuice's comments: This Pick just makes sense from a best player available standpoint. Also the Cardinals need to stop somebody on defense. They also must address offensive line later in a big way
1 3Miami MiamiJustin Herbert QB Oregon
RealDraftJuice's comments: (TRADE) I have MIA picking third because the Dolphins almost every year find a way of messing up the Draft for a team or just the whole Draft in general & here...they mess it up for the Giants. And Only the Dolphins...in Dolphins fashion can use a 1st Round pick on a player that is virtually the same exact player at positions they already have on their roster. ( They Probably trade Parker to the 9ers and sum other value picks to get here. Typical.)
1 4Cleveland ClevelandEd Oliver DT Houston
RealDraftJuice's comments: It looks and feels crazy that the thought of the Browns taking the idea of creating a winning brand of playing football is starting to kind of come to life. I think this threat of them wanting to be a dangerous team on the rise is real....and if they make this pick...it proves it. (No Need To Reach on underwhelming offensive talent here) BPA
1 5Tampa Bay Tampa BayClelin Ferrell DE Clemson
RealDraftJuice's comments: Tampa Bays Love affair with Clemson talent (especially in Mock Drafts on the internet for like the last 10 years) will probably actually come to life...this time...(AGAIN). Noah Spence is invisible and McCoy along with JPP could use a young overhyped talent to shadow them and eat up off scraps from his potential with the two stars taking on double teams and schemes to actually stop good players on an underwhelming Bucs Defense.
1 6NY Jets NY JetsJosh Allen OLB Kentucky
RealDraftJuice's comments: People will say this is a big reach here for the Jets. But they wouldnt be the Jets if they werent picking No. 6 and Picking Defense 1st. Plus they actually have to reach here for this position after ignoring it for 123 years (overexaggeration i kno: Joke) but I have a feeling Allen is a Big Risk Big reward player and has alot more hidden talent and potential than most would probably assume.
1 7NY Giants NY GiantsGreg Little OT Mississippi
RealDraftJuice's comments: This may be a bit of a reach here...but I honestly just do not trust Gettlemans decision making. (Saqoun pick doesnt count...cus hey even like he said himself...even his Grandmother could make that pick...Cus Barkley is that GOOD!) But leave it to him and the Giants braintrust to get a big “HogMolly” who may be an underachiever...but if Shurmur actually decides to coach his players up for success...this might be a smart and good pick for the future.
1 8Buffalo BuffaloJonah Williams OT Alabama
RealDraftJuice's comments: In my mind I have D.K. Metcalf here in this slot but they do not have him as a top prospect on here...the Bills do severly also need offensive line help or else Josh Allen (in Buf) will be a bust and help Josh Allen (w/NYJ) be an all pro...That OLine currently is gonna get him killed. (Also KBenjamin is gone next year...lazy with wasting talent anyway.)
1 9Jacksonville JacksonvilleDrew Lock QB Missouri
RealDraftJuice's comments: There will be more reaching in this draft than Gary Payton in the ‘Good Ol Days’ of late 80s 90s NBA where perimeter players could actually get the sheckles thrown on them. I think Lock has some skills...lucky for him hes gonna be sought after in this years Draft instead of the next. Get ya Money youngn. Plus it doesnt hurt that u can play behind a still talented defense and you can deff throw 20 yards further and more accurate than Blake Bortles wiffle ball passes at receivers feet for 5 yards.
1 10San Francisco San FranciscoAndraez "Greedy" Williams CB LSU
RealDraftJuice's comments: I think with John Lynch’s mentality this pick will make sum sense seeing that good speedy defense is going to be needed to compete and keep up with the Rams. It may well end up being his last pick as GM for the 9ers but at least it will be a good one for the future. Good not great cus only in the NFC especially these days in the NFC West that you can get away with being a slim speedy corner who probably cant consistently tackle...but sure can make a couple nice picks and long arm long finger break ups after losing focus and getting burned; See Marcus Peters(also joke). Yup these are no longer the days of Legion on Boom NaVarro Bowman and Patrick Willis Defensive Battles.
1 11Detroit DetroitMontez Sweat DE Mississippi State
RealDraftJuice's comments: If Montez Sweat was More Laterally athletic and we found out he has hands...this pick would be....(drum roll) WIDE RECEIVER! Just Kidding...Detroit needs either help or a replacement for Ziggy Ansah...Pass rush is needed as well as corner...they could fill this defense out in this draft if they do it right.
1 12Philadelphia PhiladelphiaAmani Oruwariye CB Penn State
RealDraftJuice's comments: Philly will deff need sum help at OLine and possibly receiver, but they MOST likely need help at corner. The injuries currently leave them with no solid reliable depth and with this selection it is a pick from in their own back yard and can sure up some physicality to go with Malcolm Jenkins in the back end. I dont think Pat Shurmur is gonna be able to scheme 2 games out the year that horribly against a depleted Eagles secondary...soo it would be good to see them plan ahead for potential OBJ/Saquon explosion games.
1 13Atlanta AtlantaDexter Lawrence DT Clemson
RealDraftJuice's comments: People have been so scared in the past years about potential Free Agent SuperBowl one Man wrecking crew Grady Jarrett leaving for the market that I had to put this pick here. Plus if he stays it beefs them up on the interior. I think Atlanta has been slowly and quietly built nicely on defense with talent. They are just snake bitten when it comes to injuries. (They too are very fascinated with Clemson talent...i think..?)
1 14Baltimore BaltimoreN'Keal Harry WR Arizona State
RealDraftJuice's comments: This is a year of the WR position dropping in the Draft and rightfully so. There are more valuable positions of need for most teams...and WR as most analyst put it...is a dependable position meaning they need to depend on a good QB and offensive line and OC to be productive. Harry sures up this receiving core though. Physical and a baller with athleticism he doesnt need to kill you with all speed. They got ‘Smoke’ Brown for that.
1 15Cincinnati CincinnatiJeffrey Simmons DT Mississippi State
RealDraftJuice's comments: A new head coach and a new defensive coordinator should call for sum low key weird changes for this team in the offseason. The Bengals are always doing something wacky with their roster drafting positions they already have with talents they dont need(usually not good or wasted pick on what they already got) but this will probably be the pick that actually might pay off with time.
1 16Oakland OaklandDevin White ILB LSU
RealDraftJuice's comments: Gruden Draft Voice: I T(h)ELL YA WUT Man...this guy right here can go sideline to sideline and hes a hard hitting THUMPER. Hes also a GRUDEN GRINDER MAN. T(h)ELL YA WUT MAN. I like HIM! And Im gonna Go and GET EM!
1 17Tennessee TennesseeAustin Bryant DE Clemson
RealDraftJuice's comments: I just have that feeling Tennesse picks a pass rusher first because of Derrick Morgans lack of production and Brian Orakpo being....Just There. Bryant may also end up being that guy similiar to these two. But at least its a younger re-fill replacement.
1 18Seattle SeattleRashan Gary DE Michigan
RealDraftJuice's comments: Its soo Seahawks to pick at this position right here. But as we seen a few times from Super Bowl winning teams with good defenses...keeping the d-line refreshed with talent is a staple to success in the league. And this guys is athletic with strength...fits in as an add on to the scheme.
1 19Green Bay Green BayJalen Jelks DE Oregon
RealDraftJuice's comments: I think this new GM for GB is into doing some weird...gotta show em im gusty and think outside the box moves...He will be aggressive in trying to make the defense type competitive...and this will be his first weird 1st Round Pick. He is 6’7 and played at Oregon. (See: Oregon 1st Rd Picks). Worth the risk.....and the regret...? (Gutsy tho)
