robmorrison14's 2019 NBA Mock Draft Picks - Last updated: 06-20-2019

Rnd. ▴ Pick   Team Player Pos. School
1 1New Orleans New OrleansZion Williamson PF Duke
robmorrison14's comments: Zion's health is a major concern for me. We've never seen any player like him, but that may be his biggest flaw. 280 lbs falling 45" every time he jumps up for a monster dunk, can't do any positives for his legs or his back. I hope I'm wrong because we would see a Mt. Rushmore type of player if he has a full healthy career, but it's Zion. I don't think he will end up having the best career, but you're not going to pass up on him.
1 2Memphis MemphisJa Morant PG Murray State
robmorrison14's comments: Memphis has said they're on the Ja train. As much as I hate to see him go to such a disaster of a franchise, Ja has the skill to turn around the program.
1 3New York New YorkR.J. Barrett SF Duke
robmorrison14's comments: If NY picks 4, they would trade the pick, but with RJ available they will take him. Barrett is going to be legit. I don't know what the roster will look like after free agency but the Knicks have found their future with the 3rd pick.
1 4Atlanta AtlantaDe'Andre Hunter SF Virginia
robmorrison14's comments: All of a sudden I think NOLA would be open to trading Davis to LA. Along with getting Zion, adding Ingram, Kuzma, Ball, Hart, and the 4th pick, talk about a young super team. With that pick I think Hunter is the guy. He won't be a star, but a reliable player for his entire NBA career. A wonderful role player who will get the job done and help you possibly win a title. Watch out cause NOLA is going to be a powerhouse market for years to come.
1 5Cleveland ClevelandJarrett Culver SG Texas Tech
robmorrison14's comments: Collin Sexton is developing nicely and that will continue into his sophomore year. Why not throw a backcourt mate to pair up with for years to come. The SG position doesn't get better than the best 2 way player this draft class has to offer. Buy stock in Culver and Sexton.
1 6Minnesota MinnesotaDarius Garland PG Vanderbilt
robmorrison14's comments: Phoenix needs a PG. Garland is fine. I don't think he's the top 3 PG in the draft but no one else seems to agree so PHX can take Garland into the black hole of the NBA.
1 7Chicago ChicagoCoby White PG UNC
robmorrison14's comments: Chicago is a PG away from having a incredible starting 5. Coby White is my guy. He is such a great player and will fit in the Bulls lineup very nicely. The starting 5 of Carter, Markkanen, Porter, Lavine, and White would make a nice playoff run for Chicago in the very near future.
1 8New Orleans New OrleansBol Bol C Oregon
robmorrison14's comments: Trae Young and John Collins need some more help to rebuild ATL. Bol Bol might not make a instant impact, but with the Hawks getting the 10th pick as well, it would be worth taking a shot on Bol.
1 9Washington WashingtonCam Reddish SF Duke
robmorrison14's comments: Cam is the biggest risk in the draft. Which is why whichever team selects him need to be really cautious with how the develop him. Thats why I think WSH would be the right destination for Reddish. They sound like they may be moving on from Beal and John Wall will be out for most if not all of next year. What a perfect opportunity for Cam to step in. Tell him, this is his year. Let him take as many shots as he wants. Let him do his thing. It's not like it's going to matter anyway. The Wizards aren't going to make the playoffs, so no harm done even if he stinks up the place. It will just prepare him to a 2nd year and the rest of his NBA career. This may be the only chance Cam has at being something in the NBA.
1 10Atlanta AtlantaPJ Washington SF Kentucky
robmorrison14's comments: You got your big man, now you need a player who will be able to make an impact on day one. PJ is the guy. Give this team a year and a good SG pickup in the offseason (maybe Beal?) and ATL will find themselves back in the playoffs soon.
1 11Phoenix PhoenixDaniel Gafford PF Arkansas
robmorrison14's comments: Gafford is an underated player and has the game that would work for the Minnesota system. T-Wolves need Gafford.
1 12Charlotte CharlotteBrandon Clarke C Gonzaga
robmorrison14's comments: There are so many young players who aren't getting a chance in CHA, I hope Clarke is not the next one. Brandon has great skill and athleticism for a big man and could get Kemba some help. But knowing the Hornets he'll never be more than a bench player and no one will remember his name in a couple of years.
1 13Miami MiamiNickeil Alexander-Walker PG Virginia Tech
robmorrison14's comments: Time for a PG to take the keys in MIA. Nickeil is incredible and will be an all star in the future. Another PG that is a pure baller on both ends of the court.
1 14Boston BostonRomeo Langford SG Indiana
robmorrison14's comments: Romeo is not ready for the NBA. He has no shot. That's why if he is to leave IU this year, this would be a great grab for BOS. They don't need Langford at this moment. Perfect place for him to ride the bench get single digit minutes a game and learn and develop. He's got the skills, just doesn't know how to use it yet. Still think it would be best for him to stay an extra year in college but being he was one of the top recruits in the nation, I don't see it happening.
1 15Detroit DetroitKeldon Johnson SF Kentucky
robmorrison14's comments: This just feels like a Detroit pick. Kind of like a Stanley Johnson all over again. I hope this one turns out better than Stanley did.
1 16Orlando OrlandoKevin Porter SF USC
robmorrison14's comments: They have a talented SF already in Isaac, but Porter is versatile enough to play the SG position. Not sure about this kids career, he seems to have some problems off the court. On the court he is about as talented as they come in the draft. Would be a Good back court player to add with Fultz.
1 17New Orleans New OrleansTalen Horton-Tucker SG Iowa State
robmorrison14's comments: This might be a stretch. I'm all aboard the Talen train. He will be a stud in this league. One of the youngest players in this draft with an insane upside. I wouldn't be suprised to see the Hawks take THT here.
1 18Indiana IndianaRui Hachimura SF Gonzaga
robmorrison14's comments: Everyone has Rui going earlier than 18 and he easily could. I have him falling a bit as Gonzaga players getting drafted have been hit or miss by a mile. This might end up being quite the steal for IND who could use Hachimura's presence desperately.
1 19San Antonio San AntonioSekou Doumboya SF France
robmorrison14's comments: Best INT. player in this draft. Would fit in SA very well. With Pop as his coach, he could be one of the great steals of this draft.
1 20Boston BostonJaxson Hayes C Texas
robmorrison14's comments: FINALLY! I get to take Jaxson off the board. He is a top ten talent, I just couldn't find a fit for him anywhere. What a draft this could end up being for MEM. The lineup of Hayes, Jackson, Anderson, Some SG, and Morant might get the Grizzlies on National TV once or twice this year
1 21Oklahoma City Oklahoma CityIgnas Brazdeikis SF Michigan
robmorrison14's comments: Iggy really fell off towards the end of the season and I think it's because he couldn't handle being a star. An extra year at Michigan might have fixed that right up. If he were to leave he seems to fit well in a Thunder jersey. Also it would give him a chance to develop off the bench of a year or two.
1 22Boston BostonCarsen Edwards PG Purdue
robmorrison14's comments: If BOS keeps Kyrie Irving, Edwards would be a good gamble. Someone to learn the game and when Kyrie leaves, you would have the next PG to take over for the franchise.
1 23Memphis MemphisMatisse Thybulle SG Washington
robmorrison14's comments: A great SF is all that Utah is missing and although Matisse is a SG they could decide to go small for the 1,2, and 3. With Gobert down low he makes up for the lack of length elsewhere. Utah is on the verge of doing something very special and Thybulle could be the final piece of the puzzle.
1 24Philadelphia PhiladelphiaEric Paschall PF Villanova
robmorrison14's comments: Everyone is sleeping on Eric Paschall. His shot is really special and fits as a big in the NBA so well. Playing in Villanova, I think the 76ers would be open to take him as a bench guy. Adding more depth and 3 point shooting to the roster.
1 25Portland PortlandNazreon Reid PF LSU
robmorrison14's comments: Naz Reid is another sleeper in this drat. POR has a solid roster right now and adding Reid could play out very well for POR in the near future.
1 26Cleveland ClevelandBruno Fernando C Maryland
robmorrison14's comments: CLE has the backcourt set up with Collin and Jarrett. Now to start to put together the front court. Bruno is a beast. I love his game and his potential is about as high as anyone in this class.
1 27Brooklyn BrooklynLuguentz Dort SG Arizona State
robmorrison14's comments: Dort has the potential to be the next James Harden. Will he become him, that all depends on the amount of work he puts in, and the amount of work his team puts in him. Without question his athleticism and ability to drive and get to the basket is incredible. He needs a better control of his game, but in a packed young roster he could develop in the shadows then shine in the spotlight when the time comes. Another year at ASU would have Dort an easy lottery pick but that doesn't appear to be in his plans.
1 28Golden State Golden StateMoses Brown C UCLA
robmorrison14's comments: GS need a big man. With the departure of KD in the near future, they need to rely on the splash bros more than ever. Moses to me is a second round pick, but GS might need to reach here and get him. He has the tools to be a force in a few years, and he could take some of the pressure off the perimeter in the meanwhile.
1 29San Antonio San AntonioGrant Williams PF Tennessee
robmorrison14's comments: Grant Williams is a Spur. Don't @ me!
1 30Detroit DetroitGoga Bitadze C Georgia
robmorrison14's comments: Goga will add a bit of depth to a shorthanded Pistons roster.
