NBA Teams :

Team Needs: C, SG, PG, PF

Draft Preview: Atlanta was probably the team that needed the #1 pick the most, as grabbing a center like Ayton would have done wonders for their core. After last season's surrender, they'd established 3 semi-core players: Dennis Schroeder, Taurean Prince, and John Collins. That was until Schroeder demanded a trade (who they were looking to trade last year anyways). With a ton of cap space available, they probably won't find any high impact free agents to sign, nor do they want to. They are likely going the Brooklyn/Philly route. Allow teams to trade them garbage contracts for 1st round picks that could turn into something. Tank for a few years and hope to grab a few cornerstones at the top of each draft.

At #3 they still have the opportunity to strike gold and find a franchise player, as this is one of the better freshman classes in years.
