Strengths: Harrell’s obvious strength is his effectiveness around the rim. He has incredible length for a 6’8” player. He can rebound and throw down with some of the best players in the country. A defensive rebound is never easy when this guy’s on offense. Harrell has improved his mid-range shooting as well as his passing game while at Louisville.
Weaknesses: Harrell’s height is one of the few aspects that hold him back. He will struggle to establish any kind of offensive game at the NBA level. He can get to the rim and attack with aggressiveness, but that will be fairly easy to defend if he doesn’t provide a dual-threat at the next level. His rebounding skills and athleticism will have to really carry him to be chosen by an NBA program.
