Strengths: Hunter is a coach’s son, and everyone loves a coach’s son. Aside from his high basketball IQ, he is a deadly shooter from anywhere on the court. Hunter is certainly tall and long enough to play shooting guard in the NBA, and he won’t hurt a team with his defense and rebounding. He has confidence to go along with all of the above.
Weaknesses: The biggest question mark for Hunter will be how he handles tougher competition. Playing with a lower-tiered Georgia State in college, he hasn’t exactly seen the type of defense that he will see in the NBA. Hunter could also gain some muscle as well to improve his draft stock. As long as his jump shot stays consistent, however, he will find his way onto an NBA roster.
