NBA Teams :

Team Needs: C, SF, PG, PF

Draft Preview: Sacramento's experiment of veterans and youth didn't exactly work last year after finishing with only 27 wins. The good news is that their salary cap is not tied up in these vets and they could just go youth going forward. Figuring out their core is the challenge. De'Aaron Fox and Bogdan Bogdanovic had great chemistry in the backcourt, yet Buddy Hield and Frank Mason were more effective. Willie Cauley-Stein and Skal Labissiere have all the potential you could ask for, but they were teases and it this point can't be relied upon. Justin Jackson as the future SF? Probably, but jury is still out.

So Sacramento is in a great position picking #2, guaranteeing themselves a high impact player who would immediately be a cornerstone. If Phoenix goes with Doncic, Ayton becomes a pick-n-roll machine with Fox. If Doncic is the pick, perhaps they move him to a point forward roll or move Fox off the ball.
