DraftSite's comments: This is looking like a slam dunk. The Buccaneers have done their homework and feel they have their franchise quarterback.

DraftSite's comments: I think Mariota is the pick here...the question will be who is making the selection. Unless we hear about a definitive deal coming down the pike my guess is the Titans select Mariota and then wait to see what type of deal comes their way.

DraftSite's comments: Putting Amari Cooper here but again I think this could be another team. If I were GM of the Jags I would look for a team wanting Cooper and orchestrate a trade before he becomes a Raider. Move down the board and target Todd Gurley to take some pressure off of Blake Bortles.

DraftSite's comments: The Raiders need receivers and they could still take one here but this is a value pick. Khalil Mack was a great selection and by the end of the season we saw how he is going to lead this defense, pair Mack with Williams and the front seven is starting to look tough.
-
6' 3"
-

DraftSite's comments: Fowler is just the best pass rusher left at this point and the Redskins need a replacement for Brian Orakpo and Ryan Carrigan is a free agent after this season so they can ill afford to have another big name loss on the edge.

DraftSite's comments: Surprise! I think the Jets will take one of two players that would both be surprises here. Beasley fills the outside pass rush void but don't be surprised if there was an early play for Todd Gurley here. I think the Jets wait until Round 2 or 3 before going after a running back but a Gurley pick here could send some shockwaves throughout the draft board.

Strengths: Explosive burst off the snap, as well as upper body strength and leg drive to effectively push tackles onto their heels with a bull rush...

DraftSite's comments: Defense will be the focal point but I think the Bears knew long ago the chance was they could trade Brandon Marshall and get either Cooper or Kevin White at #7 to pair with Alshon Jeffrey.
-

DraftSite's comments: I have heard rumblings that Atlanta could be looking at #3 or #4 to move up for Dante Fowler. If the Falcons stay put they take an edge rusher as a run starts to begin and they take Bud Dupree.

DraftSite's comments: Flowers goes a bit higher than expected and is the first lineman off the board here. This would provide the Giants the opportunity to move Justin Pugh inside to guard. The Giants could continue the trend and take an edge rusher or a corner or even Todd Gurley. Many different areas the Giants can go.
-

-

DraftSite's comments: Brandon Scherff offers the most versatility there although they could prefer Ereck Flowers or Andrus Peat if either is on the board.
-

DraftSite's comments: Waynes has to be the pick here. In a division with Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers why not take someone to pair with future Pro Bowler Xavier Rhodes and form a dynamic corner combo.
-
6' 2"
-

DraftSite's comments: I think a wide receiver is a likely target but there seem to be more candidates still in play for the selection at #19 provided the Browns are not in the Marcus Mariota sweepstakes.
-
6' 3"
-

DraftSite's comments: Two years in a row they Saints take a receiver but they have an extra first round pick where they would likely address a pass rushing or pass coverage need.
-
6' 1"
-

DraftSite's comments: This could be late for Gurley who could go as early as #6. I feel teams near the top could take Gurley if they trade and move down and address a need with another pick they acquire in the deal (are you listening Jacksonville).
-
6' 7"
-

DraftSite's comments: Armstead to me is still risky but there are a ton of needs along the front seven. I suspect a linebacker comes a little later or is the target if we see the Niners trade back. Don't be surprised if this is Marcus Peters or Kevin Johnson.
-
6' 5"
-

DraftSite's comments: I have liked a DT here for awhile but it is looking more and more like the versatility of Cameron Erving intrigues the Texans. With the dependable center Chris Myers gone the Texans could look at Erving as an immediate replacement.
-
6' 1"
-

DraftSite's comments: This looks like Gordon or a lineman as it is looking like Philip Rivers isn't going anywhere. The Chargers always need pass rushers and that is an area they could address early just as they have in years past.

Scouting Report
Could this be the year where a RB will be chosen in the 1st RD? You betcha! RB with decent size and speed who can cut quickly through the holes...

DraftSite's comments: We know Jeremy Maclin is not the only answer at wide receiver and the Chiefs surrendered a ton of sacks a season ago. Marcus Peters has a lot of interest from the organization as the Chiefs have been one of the teams that have looked at him hard and have not wavered since the news of his dismissal and clashing with coaches broke.
-

-

DraftSite's comments: The Browns got their run stuffer early so they do what they failed to do last season...take a receiver early.
-

DraftSite's comments: If the Eagles do not wind up moving up for Marcus then I think this will be a wide receiver. The Eagles still need secondary help and this could be Byron Jones but grabbing a top notch wide receiver should be a top priority. Also hearing Phillip Dorsett. Although Dorsett is very fast his 5'10" frame would prove Chip Kelly's reasoning for the jettison of DeSean Jackson last year was pure bull.

DraftSite's comments: The best linemen available at this point in the draft.

DraftSite's comments: This team has liked Kevin Johnson for a long time but the Steelers are always looking for pressure off the edge and they could be the winners of the Shane Ray sweepstakes.
-

-

DraftSite's comments: With Malcolm Brown sliding a bit here the Lions take him over Eddie Goldman, a player I had with the Lions for quite some time.
-

DraftSite's comments: People may not look at cornerback as the biggest need but I feel the Cardinals have addressed many of their biggest needs in free agency. Here the Cardinals take the best player available while avoiding Shane Ray and Randy Gregory if any or both players are available.

DraftSite's comments: The Panthers could be a surprise and go after a running back perhaps trading out of Round 1 to land one. Here the Panthers address the hole left by Jordan Gross and his retirement last season as the Panthers were awful in pass protection.
-
6' 1"
-

DraftSite's comments: This team needs help at corner and in Byron Jones the Ravens get perhaps the best athlete at the position.
-
6' 5"
-

DraftSite's comments: Dallas makes a reach here with Gregory. Gregory is a top 10 or even top 5 talent to some but there are a number of people who feel his stock will land him on the outside of round 1. A corner is a possibility here but Gregory going to Dallas makes sense as they are a perfect team to take a chance on his character concerns.

DraftSite's comments: With the scheme change in Denver another body on the inside at linebacker makes a lot of sense for Denver.
-
6' 0"
-

DraftSite's comments: We have had Landon Collins falling here for some time. I think the Colts will have a choice of safeties if Collins is still here the pick could still be Demarious Randall from Arizona State.
-
6' 4"
-

DraftSite's comments: Both starting defensive tackles are back in the fold but that should change as after next year one if not both are gone. Goldman gives the Packers a legitimate starter for the future.
-
6' 3"
-
245
DraftSite's comments: Harold now gives the Saints the pass rusher they are looking for off the edge since they landed DaVante Parker in this scenario at #13.
-
6' 1"
-
205
DraftSite's comments: You don't lose corners like Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner and not look to replace a corner. The Patriots have looked long and hard at wide receivers as well as offensive guards and defensive tackles but here they get versatility with a player that is primarily a corner with a bit of safety experience to boot.
