Strengths:
Adams has the perfect combination of size, speed, athleticism, and football IQ to be a dominate safety in the NFL. This past season at LSU, Adams earned All-American honors after recording 76 tackles to go along with one interception and four pass breakups. Adams ran the LSU defense and showed to be a natural leader, and is one of the more polished prospects in the draft. He has great instincts and seemed to always be aware of what opposing offenses were trying to do. At the next level, a coaching staff can play him as a single-high safety or move him into the box more. He's got a good bloodline as the son of former first round pick George Adams, who played in the NFL from 1985-1991
Weaknesses:
Can be over aggressive at times, which leads to a missed tackle or blown coverage. Adams also needs to develop as a play maker when the balls in the air. He doesn't have fantastic straight line speed.
