Strengths:

A lot of times on tape it looks like Allen is a man playing among boys. Allen was virtually unblockable during his time at Alabama. He won the Nagurski Award this year, awarded to the best defensive player in the nation. He registered 69 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and 16 tackles for lose He would've been a first round pick in 2016 but decided to return to school. It was the right move as he's almost a lock to go in the top-5. Allen is a plug and play defensive lineman from day one because of his versatility to play in either a 43 or a 34 defensive scheme. He's well coached, strong, heavy handed, can rush inside and outside, athletic, and really just an all around great football player.

Weaknesses:

Biggest knock on Allen is his height. Ideally, he'd be two or three inches taller. Durability is also a concern as Allen has had at least two shoulder surgeries at Alabama, which could raise red flags for teams. Allen does a great job of reading plays but at times gets pushed off the ball while diagnosing.
