DraftSite's comments: He might be the best offensive dee-man attacker in the class. His edging and feet are elite, and has a high panic point as he waits and sees the openings and moves the puck to his best option. A terrific stick-handler and four direction skater who seems to have a little “letting” in him…

DraftSite's comments: When drafting a defensive prospect, you look for size, skating ability, puck skill, speed, and an excellent back pedal. He has these and exceptional physical tools, poise and a powerful point shot. His stock dropped some when there were question on some his DZ decisions, that’s why they call them prospects. He is as good as many forwards one on one on the attack, and a dual threat in the attack zone. Arizona might be getting one of the top defenders in the group a lot farther down than they imagined.

DraftSite's comments: He is a player, who in my opinion, is the most under-rated player in the first round. Saw a ton of ice-time, and effortless can skate in all the directions of the compass, so smooth, and skilled a passer, with an active stick in his own end. He definitely needs more time and to build his frame, strength and physicality, but he is the real deal.
