Roni Hirvonen

Undersized high tempo attacking centre who has already spent a good part of this season in the the Finnish pro league where he saw time on the power play due to his high end puck-handling. Instinctive and creative with the puck while moving  at top speeds with high tempo pace off the rush. Can think and diagnose the developing play and handle pucks and set ups in tight quarters, but seems destine to project as a third line player if he graduates to the NHL, since he is small- framed, and not a blazer. More of an average skater, but still quickly sneaks in the open seams with his lateral agility at opportune times and scores. Active and involved at a high pace all over the sheet with good jump and involvement, but his slightly-built frame gets him pushed off the puck too easily. He does compete and have nice vision and creativity.
