Simon Kubicek

One of Seattle’s big strong defenders who uses his size to play his position with zealous. Has nice footwork and a good enough burst to close gaps, be the first to loose pucks or handle attackers in one on one situations. Can and will separate attackers from pucks with open ice hits. Very good on the power play where he lets loose his big time heavy shot. Sees the passing lanes and takes good angle when moving closer in. Is a good outlet passer who is willing to trail the play or create the odd-man rush. In the World Junior, he finished checks, and showed the strength to handle bigger players. Has a big blast he lets loose on the power play.A nice prospect.
