SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths: Lyles has a great build for an NBA player. He’s long and has good size and strength. He’s a smart player, he’s versatile on the floor, and he makes his teammates better. Lyles can spot-up for a long or medium shot, but he’s at his best in the post. He can finish at the rim, and he’s a very effective passer. Lyles’ length helps him disrupt shots and passing lanes on defense. His smart play could potentially propel him up past other prospects.

Weaknesses: Although Lyles can do so many great things, he doesn’t stand out in any one category. This might be seen as OK with his skill set though, because his high basketball IQ will be fun to work with at the NBA level. Lyles is not extremely athletic, but he also won’t kill defenders with his strength. Lyles has a solid foundation for an NBA player and will be fun to watch progress with a team.
