Quick-twitch athlete with nice speed and almost defensive back-like quickness and change of direction. Smooth with good range. Excellent in coverage versus running backs and tight ends. Shows strong effort in pursuit. Often squares up as a tackler.
Lacks bulk and has to use his quickness to evade blocks. Lack of bulk can affect his open field tackling. Not necessarily an impact defender. Doesn't make a lot of plays in the backfield.
