SCOUTING REPORT
Strengths:

Explosive first step and his raw speed off the edge is impressive. He is more developed as a pass rusher then many give him credit for. Played against top competition at Alabama and was very productive. He is solid at setting the edge and playing the run. Shows the ability to drop into coverage and operate in space. Best fit is as a speed rusher in a 34 defense where he'd have one job...get the quarterback!

Weaknesses:

Not a high football IQ and might struggle with defensive schemes at the next level. His speed rush worked in college but may not be as effective against NFL tackles. Needs to bulk up some and get stronger to play the run. Might not be an every down defensive player. Played limited snaps at Alabama and not a ton of film.
